Cogitation Blue skin for .Text 0.95

Download the Cogitation skin for .Text. This has been written for .Text version 0.95. Please report any problems or suggestions. Your feedback is appreciated.

Download - Updated as of May 6, 2004

Updates:

Changed the style (.css) files to use relative font sizes
Minor border and margin padding changes.
Replaced the “(rss)“ text with the orange “xml“ image in the left links column.
Miscellaneous small changes to easily facilitate additional color schemes (to come soon).
Included the new suggested .Text Skin logo which appears at the bottom of the skinned .Text site.

Installation:

Extract the zip file into the “/DotTextWeb/Skins/Cogitation” folder.
Add the following line of code to the “/DotTextWeb/Admin/Skins.config” file.
<SkinTemplate SkinID="Cogitation" Skin="Cogitation" />
Copy the “/Skins/Cogitation/Images/xmlsmall.gif” file to the root of your .Text web site folder.
Finally, be sure to post back and let me know if and where you use it. Thanks!

Yes very nice... BUT links and black bar on right of links are jumping slightly on Netscape for small number of links. Just thought I'd let you know...

I corrected my post to show the line of code to add the the Skins.config file. The html swollowed it up. Here it is.

Very cool skin!

I took some liberties in my blog to change fonts into scalable (em) and added underlines to links. Just in sake of usability.

I removed the WebHost4Life image and link from the download a while back. I believe I just commented it out. You need to make sure you have the WebHosting.gif (or whatever image you like) in the images folder. I am guessing at this time. If you reply back and leave a link to your site I can better understand what may be happening.

The pink, green and brown css variants are very nice too. The only problem I have is the BrownTabRight.gif is missing, so I can't use the brown one. Did I loose it, or was it missing in the download?

Oops! My mistake. The pink, green and brown color schemes were never really completed. I guess I didn't realize I had deployed them in the package. Sorry. :)

Great skin! Not sure if its just me though, but I have this "phantom" black line on my 1st post that disappears if I highlight it.

awesome skin, been using it for a while now but had to redo my blog recently...and now the xml images aren't displaying properly (copied the xmlsmall.gif to the root, but on looking at the html, it's looking in the images folder of the cogitation directory). any pointers? please contact me directly via my blog.

Excellent skin! A few things? When you add something to the left bar that is bigger than what it is already, it shifts over correctly but the main section goes under. Not a flowing design?

Second, the Remember me check box state is never saved.. but the data for the fields are... Is this a skin control deal or a base control bug?

Great looking skin, but I get the following error:

Could not load type 'Dottext.Web.UI.Controls.MyLinks'.
