I saw a the new movie Hellboy. It was AWESOME!!! It had some of the coolest monsters I have ever seen! There's a little bit in the movie that I wouldn't want younger children to see, but overall, I woud say that it is appropriate for age 9+ , not that bad. It was a great movie with tons of cool effects. I give it 8 out of 10. ( 6 and over is a good movie.)

Hellboy is a demon that is supposed to sit at the right hand of the Devil, but is raised by a man and tought to be good. His love goes to a girl with a case of pyrokenysis, who's code name is Sparky. She can create fire when she has emotions. To make a long story short Hellboy has to fight an extremely strong deity, who is worshiped by a sorcerer. This sorcerer hates America and wants to use him to destroy it by having Hellboy use his stone hand ( yes it's made of stone) to unlock some gods of destruction.

( 8 out of 10 stars)

The devil in the movie has some creepy things come out his nose, but what I would worry about is the whipping that Jesus gets. It is EXTREMELY bloody and maybe ever disturbing to some viewers. But it has a sadder, more emotional side to it to it. When they hang Jesus on the cross, your eyes are bound to turn on the waterworks. If you see this movie, bring a few hankerchiefs.
